Why isn’t my WordPress site showing on Google?

Let me explain the difference between web design and SEO, it helps you understand the problem.

The crux of the problem is usually that your web designer has paid very little attention to SEO. That can result in it not being found or ranked by Google. Not Showing On Google?
If you’ve read the blog I provided a link (above), you hopefully have a better understanding of why your WordPress site isn’t showing on Google.
If you haven’t, or want a shorter explanation, the issue could be because your web designer didn’t do anything in respect of SEO.
SEO is an abbreviation of Search Engine Optimisation. It is the process of optimising your website structure and content so that it can be easily read by Google.
However, it is a lot more complex than it sounds and is a very misunderstood topic.
Websites can have a large number of issues preventing them from being ‘indexed’ by Google. They can even be ‘deindexed’ by Google for breaking policies and guidelines it applies.
The good news is that the problems can almost always be resolved by a WordPress SEO expert such as myself.

Whatever is preventing your WordPress site from showing on Google, it can be resolved.

If you have a specific target keyword or phrase that you want to be ranked for in Google search, and if that phrase is competitive, you probably require more intensive and longer-term WordPress SEO services.
